Core aeration is done on turf areas as a means of reducing turf compaction, reducing thatch buildup, improving the infiltration of water/nutrients, encouraging deeper roots, and creating an environment where grass seed can have direct contact with the soil. Thin spots get double aeration and the remainder of the turf one pass. 

 Mow, trimming with weed whacker, edge sidewalks and blow off grass clippings for one visit. Weekly mowing is approximately 32 visits per season (April-November). Mowing renews automatically from year to year. 

Removing leaves/natural debris, cut back hydrangeas, cutting back liriope and dead annuals/perennials. 

Hand weeding existing flowerbeds.

 Prevents weed seeds from germinating (reduces weed growth), existing beds. Pre-emergant should be applied in Spring and Fall. Excluding vegetable gardens.

 Double shredded mulch. Includes delivery, professionally cut edge along flowerbeds, and spreading. Existing beds only. We mulch existing beds at 1 inch. Mulch is available in brown, black, red, pine nuggets, rubber mulch and more.

 ​Approx. March thru October.  Includes removing weeds by hand and applying flowerbed weed killer as needed. Existing beds. Excludes veggie gardens. Does not include removing ivy. Must select Spring and Fall Flowerbed pre-emergent applications. Must complete initial spring cleanup, weeding, weedkiller. 

 ​14-14-14 Fertilizer for maintaining ornamental landscape plants such as foundation plantings, shrubs, ground covers, trees, roses and flowers. Fertilizing in the Spring and Fall increases plant vigor and beautiful foliage. Existing beds only. Excluding vegetable gardens.  

 Includes debris removal. Excludes azaleas and other spring flowering shrubs, when service is completed in Spring. Shrub trimming will be performed with a gas hedge trimmer and shaped into what the current shape most resembles. This is not selective hand trimming.

 Light application of seed for an established lawn, this is NOT for bare spots. We use Premium tall fescue at 4lbs per 1000 sqft and 8lbs/1000 for bare spots. Shady areas get Premium fine fescue at 3lbs per 1000 sq ft. Bare and thin spots get double aeration and the remainder of the turf one pass. We do not use straw or hay because it creates a mess in your yard. This service is typically done in the fall (September/October). Bare spots may need re-seeding at 12lbs per 1000 sq ft to catch up with the existing turf and is an additional cost, as requested. We will skip mowing the following week.

• Mid Summer: Organic Soil Conditioner which improves the health of all plants by providing Humic Acid, Kelp and an assortment of trace elements and micro-nutrients not found in common fertilizers. Includes spot spraying weeds.​  
• Early Fall: Fertilizer to encourage root growth and seed establishment. Includes spot spraying weeds.  
• ​Late Fall: Fall fertilizer to get lawn ready for the winter. Includes spot spraying weeds.  
• Winter:​ Apply needed lime and other mineral supplements determined by soil test. Includes spot spraying winter weeds.

• Early Spring: Organic based fertilizer to get the lawn off to a great start. Low Rate Pre-emergent crabgrass control. Includes spot spraying weeds.  
• Late Spring: Organic fertilizer with micro-nutrients for color and vigor. Low Rate Pre-emergent crabgrass control. Includes spot spraying weeds. 
• ​Early Summer: Organic Soil Conditioner which improves the health of all plants by providing Humic Acids, Kelp, and an assortment of trace elements and micro-nutrients not found in common fertilizers. Honey bee safe Grub Control, registered with the EPA’s Reduced Risk Program. Includes spot spraying weeds.
• Mid Summer: Organic summer stress reducer which bio-activates both clay and sandy soils and increase organic matter in the soil. Includes spot spraying weeds.

• ​Late Fall: Organic fertilizer to get lawn ready for the winter. Includes spot spraying weeds.

These are  annual services. 12 payments starting in January.

2 Flowerbed fertilizer

Yearly contracts are from January through December and automatically renew each year. For yearly contracts, if Service is discontinued for any reason, payment is due for all completed services at the time Service is discontinued and any discounts listed above will be voided and the full amounts for the completed services will be charged. Yearly contract amounts can change if services change, or service prices change.

Selective branches . Selective pruning of Crape Myrtles involves removing branches that cross, grow into the center of the tree, or are low to the ground. This helps to shape the tree, open up the interior, and encourage new growth.
 

Organic Mosquito, Gnat and Tick Spray Program: (April - mid October) Applications are every two weeks, 14 applications. The mosquito spray is organic and will repel mosquitoes, gnats, fleas, spiders and more. It is not harmful to bees, butterflies, and earthworms.  We also offer weekly applications.

Includes 3 visits. Piled at curb if you are in the Town of Vienna, otherwise, removed (vacuumed up within 24 - 48 hours). Any leaves that fall after January 1st will be considered Spring Clean Up. This is billed after the 1st service. If service is accepted after November 20th there will be only 2 visits, after Dec. 10th, there will be only 1 visit.  

 Installing sod in bare spots or entire lawn. 

Re-seeding bare spots at 12lbs per 1000 sq ft to catch up with the existing turf. We do not use straw or hay because it creates a mess in your yard.

Create French drain by digging 1ft deep by 1ft wide trench and then install 4'' Perforated Prefabricated French drainpipe. Cover with existing dirt.

Using river rock to create a channel to redirect flow of water in your yard. 

Installing dry wells is a great remedy for areas with excessive standing water or slow drainage.

Installing catch basins to prevent standing water.

Fill dirt is great for filling in holes in your yard, low spots in your yard, low spots along house foundation or  house foundation settling.

Fix grading in bumpy or poorly graded areas.

You determine your trigger point for service and each time it snows that amount we render snow removal service. Example: you choose 2'' trigger and it snows 6'', we would render snow removal 3 times and you will be billed 3 times. Snow Removal  includes driveway, walkway to front door and sidewalks. Includes ice melt. We offer three snowfall price ranges for removal:

2) 3''-5.9''

3) 6''-8.9''

 You determine your trigger and if the snow fall passes that amount we would come approximately one time at the end of each snow day, or every 8.9”, whichever one occurs 1st. Includes ice melt. You will be billed based on the total amount of snow at the end of the storm. Example you choose 2'' trigger and it snows 6'', we will come 1 time to remove 6'' and you will be billed 6'' price. Snow Removal  includes driveway, walkway to front door and sidewalks. Includes ice melt. We offer three snowfall price ranges for removal:

You Email as snow removal service is needed. This means you will pay emergency rates (30% increase) and be at the end of our list. This means it will take the longest to be serviced. Snow Removal is extremely challenging especially trying to schedule customers during a snow storm. Please sign up for Auto or End of Storm Snow removal to Avoid Emergency Rates. Snow Removal  includes driveway, walkway to front door and sidewalks. Includes ice melt. We offer three snowfall price ranges for removal:
1) 0.1"-2.9" + 30% emergency rate
2) 3''-5.9'' + 30% emergency rate
3) 6''-8.9'' + 30% emergency rate

Deicing Only, no removal, one application of ice-melt. Driveway, walkway to front door and sidewalks. We use rock salt ice melt. Premium calcium chloride MAG ice melt is available for an additional cost.

We offer two Snowfall removal ranges and de-icing only service.

We offer season per push service or season pre-pay  option which includes 15 visits at a discounted rate. Any visits past 15 visits is billed at the discounted rate. Northern Virginia on average has 15 snow events per season and has on average 22'' of snow fall per season.

15 % discount off labor for jobs accepted and completed in January & February.
